Step to Work
We aim to provide 20 Young People 18-25 with physical/learning disabilities with life skills needed to function in society & for integration into the workplace.
We will offer training for a year from 9-4 daily. This will unlock their potential in the workforce-despite their disabilities. They will learn soft skills-communication skills/time management/empathy & hard skills-office work/packaging/stock management. We have leased a work hub &we set up all rooms with a scenario-
we have a kitchen/laundry room/stockroom &office all modelling workplaces. Here the YP will gain experience &skill among peers/counsellors, while readying them to join the workforce.
